Flint Energy was founded on a simple but important idea: that the best renewable energy outcomes happen when the people who design a system are the same people who install it and assess its performance.
Too many projects fall short because design, installation and compliance are handled by different teams who don't communicate well. Specifications get lost in translation. Systems get built that don't perform as intended. Compliance gaps appear at handover. Our model is built to prevent that.
We call it ADI: Assess, Design, Install. It is the spark behind everything we do - the principle that runs through every project we take on, whether that's a single home solar installation in Cornwall or a multi-site renewable energy programme for a regional developer.
Flint Energy is led by Dion Mellows, a sustainability specialist with a background spanning environmental consultancy, building performance and low-carbon design. That expertise is the flint that shapes how we approach every project - with compliance thinking built in from the start, not added at the end.
With offices in London and Cornwall, we work with clients across the South West, South East and beyond, combining local knowledge with the technical capability to deliver complex, multi-technology schemes.
Our team holds accreditations across all the schemes that matter, including MCS, NAPIT, RECC and TrustMark, the Government Endorsed Quality Scheme.
Flint is fully accredited and registered with leading UK energy and construction bodies.
